Greetings Neighbours!
Welcome to the publication of our first newsletter for 2026. We aim to give you important information bringing you up to date with happenings in our community.
As we welcome a New Year, I extend heartfelt greetings to each member of our community. This season invites us to pause, reflect and give thanks — for the progress we have made together, the challenges we have overcome and the spirit of unity that continues to define our neighbourhood.
Over the past year, we strengthened our connections and took meaningful steps to improve the place we call home. None of this would have been possible without your involvement, your ideas and your unwavering commitment to community life.
In the coming months, our Citizens Association pledges to continue working to enhance our environment, deepen partnerships and create opportunities for engagement. I look forward to your continued support as we shape a future that reflects our collective hopes and aspirations for a beautiful, safe and neighbourly community that we all feel proud to call home.

Green Acres C.A. is in the process of purchasing a weedwhacker to facilitate the clearing of all sidewalks and assist with debushing overgrown lots throughout our community.
Plans are also being developed to patch and repair roads and to repair street signs throughout the community.
The Association has been installing security cameras and solar security lights throughout the Green Acres community to enhance security.
We are therefore asking residents to contribute to this community initiative.
24 hour surveillance — all activities are monitored
The Green Acres Garden Club’s Landscaping and Beautification committee has taken on the mandate to maintain the community entrances. They have also commenced the resuscitation of the palm trees at the front of Green Acres, and are intent on beautifying the green area in front of the commercial strip and the entrance from Fraser’s Boulevard.
